Life Is Good
I am really enjoying life and since I have been getting older it seems to go by so fast, I can't believe this year is nearly up.
I love the whole month of December, my favourite month of the year. People seem extra happier and I love the fact I get to spend the majority of it with my family. For me family is the most important thing in your life, I feel sorry for some older people who don't have much family and get lonely. What I find special about Christmas is getting to spend quality time with your family and from my 20 years life experience it's always best to play a board game, that's when the fun comes out, a little tip from me is try playing monopoly, I have to admit I'm pretty swag at the game just for the record.
Over the last few months I have been really working on my poker game, luck wise not been going well but I have cashed in a few tourneys and been losing in cash games. The game has got a lot tougher in the last few years due to the number of players discussing strategy and online has helped players learn the game so much quicker, I mean I know guys that play 20 tables at a time something I wouldn't advise, I stick to usually 1 or 2 but if a lot of good tourneys are on possibly 4. I managed to qualify for the 10th Anniversary Sunday Million through a $40 sat. Loved the tourney, you start of with a very deep stack which is much better as you have more time to showcase your skill. I had played really well and was 2nd in chips at my table and ended up getting into a big hand with my opponent who was chip leader at the table, blinds are 400/800 he has 50,000 and I have 40,000 he min raises to 1600 and i 3 bet to 4800 with AK, he then pushes instantly and he was a tight aggressive player so I felt I was on the lead I called and he AQ, I was in great shape to have a lot of chips but on the flop he hit a queen and that was that. I will hopefully get to play the Sunday Million again soon as it's a great weekly tourney. In January Pokerstars are hosting TCOOP which stands for Turbo Championship Of Online Poker. I shall be playing some of those, not exactly sure which ones but I will have another blog with a schedule on that.
My Youtube channel has been going for over 2 years now. I'm very happy with how it has went, it all started with me deciding to a video so my little sister has something to video with her new camera she got for Christmas. When I put that video up people started asking me to do more and since I was having fun with I thought why not and then it just went from there. I had no idea I would get that amount of subscribers and followers on my Twitter page, I know I still have a long way to go though but the main reason I do my videos is for myself as it's a lot of fun making and also to you guys who support me and get my views up. I have a lot in store soon and for 2012 I am hoping that one of my videos can hit the 100,000 mark, that would a very special moment.
My relationship with God is going really well. I have found peace in myself and I am at a happy place. Happiness comes in two ways, one way is by being a good person and the other is by doing things you enjoy. The first one is more important as it leads into the second one, if you are being an all round good person you will feel content with yourself which in turn you won't have stuff on your mind so therefore it's a lot easier to enjoy things. Right now I am happy with both parts. I find that most people you come across in life are usually nice, everyone has their own views on things but I think that's a good thing because if we were all the same it would be a boring world.
So my plan over Christmas and New Year is to go and see a movie tomorrow with a few friends, I think we are going to see Arthur Christmas, then Christmas Eve I will watch a few movies and relax with my family. Christmas day be having dinner at my house with family and then visiting family and same goes for Boxing day. Then I will be going to the cinema and playing poker and I might go ice skating a few times as it has been a while since I last went. On New Year I will be going to Irn Bru Carnival and then off visiting more family and then I make a trip to Londen on the 3rd. So pretty busy the next few weeks.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year:D

God
I really find the topic of God a very exciting one. I'm very open minded on the whole as with most stuff in life. I am a big believer in God, I feel that when times maybe get tough or that if you have some sort of faith it keeps you positive and I have always found it humbles you to realise you are a lot luckier than other people in the world
I find that your life is planned out for you and that what happens happens. It's pretty easy in modern society to become greedy, selfish and jealous. We are all capable of doing these things from time to time but I find if you don't feel bad about it you are not as likely to change. I have always been very interested in the religious topic and it still puzzles me a lot. I have my own beliefs but I think these are most important things to becoming a happy and fufilled person in life:
1) Be true to who you are - If you can't accept you for you then who will. You have to just be comfortable in your skin and not become influenced by others
2) Family and friends - You should always love your family and your friends. These are the people in your life that are going to help you on your way to learning the best
3) Help others - By doing little small things each day to help others, you will help yourself. This is not the reason you should help them but once you do you naturally feel good about it. This in turns makes you more content with life
So yeah at the end of the day you are going to make mistakes and said things you shouldn't have but if you try your best to become a better person then that's all you can do.

Full Tilt Suspended in UK
So for just about the last month, on 'Full Tilt' UK players joined Americans with being suspended, due to the site money laundering, I have a few points to say:
1) This was the biggest poker site online, now for shady things to be going on here then I can't see me trusting any poker site again, I feel for the players because a lot would have lost money out of this, luckily I withdrew my money a few months ago. I know Daniel Negreanu is very outspoken about these kind of things and I'm going to see his view on it.
2) This point really annoys me, for players to stick by a site after things like that happen is really sad. I know some guys are full time and have a family but it's morally wrong, even if you do really need the money I am sure their are more legit ways to make it than being a sponsor of a corrupt poker site
3) My last point is the reason these guys have got away with stuff like this for so long is the lack of live games going on, apart from the likes of Las Vegas and LA, most other places only have limited tournaments and cash games running, so for most it's a lot easier just to stay at home and play so I feel they need to start making live bigger and better.
So I guess for me to play now I will need to travel, I didn't play online loads anyway so it doesn't really affect me and I have always enjoyed live better, it feels more like poker and it's more healthier.

Vacation to Florida
So the last few years any trips I have had in the last two years where either non leisure ones or trips down to England so it was pretty amazing to be going to the other side of the world, it was a trip with my family and I felt the need to share with you my story, I also have a couple of short videos out there so keep up to date for when I post them up, okay if you don't have long please come back when you have more free time, let the memories begin !
11th June - 26th June
11th June - So I had packed a few nights before I left to go, I didn't get that good a nights sleep before flying but was still really hyper. It was an early afternoon flight which was a good time to go, I was sitting in the premium section which had a good selection of movies and tv shows to choose from, I ended up watching a couple of movies and reading a magazine to pass the time, after approx eight hours I finally arrived in Florida, it was another hour to my hotel but I was already feeling the heat, I then had a really nice Pizza Hut that night, now it's interesting because in the UK Pizza Hut restaurants are very modern looking but this one was like from fifteen years ago, maybe I was so hungry that I loved it.
12th June - This was just a chill day, obviously you don't get as jetlagged going out there as you do coming back since your going back in time so I was just a little bit tired. I decided to go down the pool and play some video games in the arcade. I then went back to my room to find this really interesting court case going on, basically this girl has been accused of killing her daughter, it's a really big thing there and I have to say tv over there is way better than here, that's just a plain fact
13th June - Okay I love this day, my first day at a theme park, I have to admit it's such an awesome feeling just being there, like so much going on, everyone is happy, I'm a big fan of American people, they are open and honest and I like that, I'm not saying every single American is like that but a lot seem to be, it's a more relaxed atmosphere. The parade was unbelievable, Justin Bieber actually came into my mind when that parade, he seems like a guy that would have loved that parade, I was super impressed. There was a really nice girl serving drinks, she was really sweet so yeah I just wanted to add that and say thanks for the tips about the park.
14th June - Oh yes, possibly one of the best days of the few weeks, I went on loads of rides, MIB was really good, okay my gun score sucked but I had a blast on that, I meant that literally, no I really did mean that literally ! Then at night I got invited to TNA Impact front row so yeah you should probably catch my face on tv, it's on Spike tv most Thursdays for you American guys, for the UK people it's on this week sometime on Challenge, not sure what day but if you really want to see me I'm sure you can find out yourself, remember I'm blogging not helping.
15th June - Was at the pool during the day and then went a walk down South a couple of miles, at night I went back to Universal and went to a club, now I was at a underage club because over in Florida it's 21 is the legal age so yeah I can't drink, the club there is a little dif from here, firstly there motto is basically get as many in as possible, over here it's limited so space wise was awful, girls dress a lot more casual there which I actually prefer because I'm not a big clubber to begin with, I prefer playing xbox and watching sports with friends.
16th June - I went to Animal Kingdon, now I ain't that big on those kind of parks because I don't think it's fair on some of the animals, don't get me wrong it's not cruelty but surely it must get annoying people staring at you all day long, that was a grind that day because I was out for like fourteen hours and the heat was crazy.
17th June - This was Sea World day, now that still had some animals but it has more rides to, I actually enjoyed the shows at this park becuase they had Pirates and I just love Pirates, I think Peter Pan was an incredible story and I still can't get over how someone thought of making that so yeah my tradition lives on, eating at this park was actually pretty good, it had a lot of variety and I'm very fussy eater but I got by on fries and pizza for the majority.
18th June - We went back to Universal Studios but this time went to Islands of Adventure, now this is still part of Universal just more of the kind of marvel stuff. This was also where the amazing Harry Potter ride is, that was such an experience, I mean I was flying playing quiditch, I will need to go behind the scenes on that one, so mind blowing how they made that.
19th June - After a good few busy days it was time for a more chilled day, we went to a mall which was just so much better than any mall I have been to, so much space, everybody singing and dancing, the girls actually chat the guys up. It also came to my mind there that the cars are so clean and beautiful, you have taxi which cost like $100,000, they are kind of like those cars that drive people to GMTV really modern and comfortable, I actually liked the taxi drivers pretty chatty and one night we had this guy who laughed at everything, either he really needed a tip badly or just had a great sense of humour, I say both.
20th June - I went to Tampa Bay this day so quite a journey, they have a theme park over there which is like a massive animal park, it wasn't one of my top parks but still a good day out, I got up really early and didn't get back to late and was a little bit annoyed at the bus women, she said on the way in if you guys ain't back here at such a time I'm off, then she ended up delaying the bus by 20 mins which was just stupid saying her first comment, she ended up driving fast to make back to Orlando, still she got us back just in a way she could have avoided.
21 June - 24 June - I went to some of the parks I had already been to along with a water park which was actually a lot more enjoyable than expected, I don't like flumes but they had a lot of stuff to do for people who ain't a fan of big water slides
25th June - My flight was on Saturday night, it was a rough flight home, especially when the senior cabin crew memeber shouts 'Cabin crew seatbelts on that's cabin crew put your seatbelts on' Now picture than in a Manchester accent, sounds cool.
26th June - Well I arrived home an hour ago, it feels funny being back here, now that I have tasted America I feel I could live out there, I didn't get homesick which was a good thing I guess, it's fun being back though as I haven't listened to music in a few weeks or chilled out, I ain't much of a chiller out but I still do a little bit.So here's what on my upcoming schedule
Cinema - That's my second home, I don't even know what's on just now which is really sad becuase I'm such a fanatic about the cinema, I would actually marry that place if it had the power to wear a ring.
Exercise - Although I did do some amounts in Florida it's not the routine I was use to and with the weather being much warmer it's a lot harder to do, back on it tomorrow
Party - I have a party coming up this weekend, I won't be drinking as I can't just now but pepsi gets me pretty close to drunk, I don't need to drink anyway
Xbox - I really want to start taking my gaming more seriously, I'm going to go down the store and get a dozen games and try become an expert at them since the love scene has really dried up.

2011 Goals
So my first blog of 2011, can't believe how fast the last few months have went, it just feels like Christmas was yesterday. So today I wil discuss some of my goals I have, they are no resolutions as I see that as being reflected to something you are not happy about and want it to change whereas my goals are just targets for me.
Poker Goals
1) Win an mtt
2) Build a bankroll to be able to move from micro to low limits on Full Tilt
3) Play live more than 2010
4) Use strategy sites more often
Not a lot of big goals there but I am keeping them pretty small for now, I just want to win small this year as I am trying to get better at playing poorer players, I think too advanced when I don't have to and it may have cost me a little but I can see poker being good to me this year
Personal Goals
1) Go a holiday abroad
2) Drink more alcohol
3) Run a 10k
4) Have a girlfriend
5) Complete Call of Duty
Now some of these goals are probably not what you expected so let me explain, my 4th goal is not really a goal as I actually enjoy being single it's just something I say as I usually date someone during the year so it's not a set goal but the real goal is just to have fun if it happens, I haven't been abroad since June 2009 so that pretty much explains my 1st goal. Now the 2nd is a big challenge for me, I know a lot of people would be like not drink as much but I sickened myself when I was younger, I use to drink with some friends a few years ago once a week roughly but it can get boring drinking week in week out, I done it becuase I found it exciting but now I prefer to drink just now and then but I do think it would be good to up it a little and maybe drink every 3rd week, I will just see what happens, I don't need drink to have a good time though, I don't get nervous normally so it doesn't really bother me.Okay the last goal I really want to do as I am a crap gamer right now, I play games a few times and then stop for ages, when I was 13 I completed games in days now it takes years, I need my gaming mind back again.
Been at the cinema today, I went to see 'The Way Back' quite a good story, thought it really gave you a feel for each character and had a good cast in it, I also found the scenery throughout the movie to really catch my eye, it wasn't better than I expected but not any worse either so no complaining, been out for a while so you bettter grab your tickets fast if you want to see it.The movie 'Neds' I am currently mixed about, the age limit should be a 15 to start with due to the high number of neds at that age and also don't like the fact it's set in the 70's, I will need to go see it to find out about it though so will talk about that later
Not been on Twitter as much as I would have liked so going to try and tweet a lot the next few weeks if I can, I will be busy somedays though so it will be tough but I miss some of Twitter entertainment, I am going on now.
