Gone Review

Plot

Gone is a thriller starring Amanda Seyfried. The story revolves round a myseterious girl with mental health issues named Jill. She comes home from working at her bar where a regular customer tips them 5 bucks to her and her friend as he's moving up North soon. She comes home to find her sister is missing and feels it is the same guy who abducted her several years before, the movies shows back to moments of Jill getting captured. There was never any evidence to indicate Jill had went missing all those years ago so when she goes to the police they don't want anything to do with it, they feel with lack of evidence and the fact she was in a mental home for a couple of years that it's all in her mind. One rookie officer speaks privately to her and says I believe you and hands his card so she can phone him anytime. Due to nobody really helping her out as she fears for the worst she takes the law into her own hands. It becomes a suspect leads suspect vibe where she gets more clues as she goes along. She is carrying a gun with her for safety, this obviously is a worry for the police who therefore are forced to track her down. Luckily for Jill they don't catch her due to her smart nature and risk taking. After traveling and getting suspects ruled out she goes to this guys house named Jim. He is not in the house when she goes and she asks the landlord who says he had moved up North as he had a few odd jobs to take care of. It all ends up adding up that really Jim was the regular customer who gave them big tips. She manages to get his number where he denies having Jill's sister but does ask her to meet up to help her, it is pretty clear even though he did not admit it, he implied it as he is very persuasive. He tells her to meet her at an abandoned ranch, when she gets there Jills boyfriend phones to say she is home safe, Jill doesn't fall for it as he couldn't have her talk on the phone, the police where at her house at this point. This ranch is very near the forest where Jill had been taking to years before. Knowing she has to save her sisters life she goes in. When there she doesn't find her sister but she's a picture of all his victims including her which gives more flashbacks. Jim jumps out trying to stab her down the hole but she grabs her gun quickly and shoots him and climbs the rope. Jim unable to help himself pleads Jill doesn't kill him, Jill says she won't if he tells her where Molly her sister is. He tells the truth saying he had hid her under the house to lure Jill into going to the forest, Jill then says she lied and burns him to death. She reuinites with Molly back at their home and says to the police it was all in my head.

I enjoyed the movie and felt Amanda Seyfried really played the part well. It's not that scary although it is very intense. The movie also has a very good focus point throughout where you are questioning who it could have been. I personally thought it was the rookie cop until near the end as he just looked very suspicious throughout. I suggest to go and see it although if you have read my blog you might not have to.

Twitcam Live Concert Review

So last weekend I hosted a live concert through Twitcam which is an add on site to Twitter which allows you to broadcast live footage basically. I have been busy over the last week which is why I have just had the chance to do this blog now.

So yeah I decided to do one just for some fun and for people to hear some new covers which they haven't heard me sing and I also done some covers which I have previously sang. My little sis Melissa opened up for me with a couple of songs which was really cool. I sang ten songs, my favourite was probably my acoustic cover of Demi Lovato - Skyscraper. That has always been a song I thought had a really good meaning to it and Demi sings it very well but it is probably one of the songs I am best at on guitar and felt I done it some justice.

After the show I done a chat for around 20 mins just chatting about the concert and upcoming stuff. So yeah I hope you enjoyed watching it and have a good day.
